As Prime Minister of the State of the African Diaspora (SOAD), Dr. Tin has become one of the world's leading voices promoting stronger collaboration between Africa and its global diaspora. Born in Martinique, Dr. Tin developed an early appreciation for history, culture, identity, and social justice.

His outstanding academic achievements led him to study at the prestigious École Normale Supérieure (ENS) in Paris before earning the highly respected Agrégation, France's highest teaching qualification, and completing a Doctorate (PhD) in French Literature.
