Born in Martinique, Dr. Tin developed an early appreciation for history, culture, identity, and social justice.

His outstanding academic achievements led him to study at the prestigious École Normale Supérieure (ENS) in Paris before earning the highly respected Agrégation, France's highest teaching qualification, and completing a Doctorate (PhD) in French Literature.
