Alicante, Spain — Clevenard SL proudly announces that Archbishop Prof. Chidiebere Anelechi Ogbu will be honoured with a prestigious Honorary Award at the Clevenard Open Project 5th Edition and the Clevenard Global Awards – 3rd Edition, scheduled to take place from 27–30 August 2026 at the Palacio de Congresos Alicante, Spain.

This distinguished honour will be formally presented on Day 4 — Sunday, 30 August 2026, during the flagship Clevenard Global Awards 2026, held alongside the International Fashion Runway. The ceremony celebrates outstanding individuals whose leadership and influence have shaped communities, nations, and global policy spaces.

In addition to receiving the honorary distinction, Archbishop Prof. Chidiebere Anelechi Ogbu will deliver a keynote address on Day 1 (27 August) during the Global Authors’ Recognition & Education Summit.

PROFILE OF ARCHBISHOP PROF. CHIDIEBERE ANELECHI OGBU

Clergyman | Educator | Human Rights Advocate | Pan-Africanist

Born on 19 May 1964 in Ezinihitte Mbaise, Imo State, and raised in Aba, Abia State, Archbishop Prof. Ogbu has built a career spanning over four decades in ministry, education, human rights, political activism, and continental leadership.

Education & Early Career

He studied Mass Communication at OSISATECH, Enugu, and later pursued Law at the Cross River State University of Technology. He continued legal studies at the University of South Africa (UNISA) before focusing fully on ministry, advocacy, and leadership.

From the late 1980s, he taught for 13 years while actively engaging in political and community development activities in Abia and Imo States.

Ministerial Journey

His ministry began in 1990 at the Inner Circle Christ Mission, Aba, where he rose rapidly to leadership. He later served in several churches in Nigeria and South Africa, becoming:

  • Associate Pastor, Living Waters Ministries, Johannesburg
  • Reverend, Universal Life Church, California
  • Bishop, Association of Evangelical Christian Churches
  • African President & Presiding Bishop, Dayspring Ministries International
  • Certified Advanced Pastoral Counsellor, Association of American Christian Therapists

In 2012, he became the Prelate of Impact Africa Network College of Bishops, a body dedicated to human rights education and advocacy.

Global Advocacy & Leadership

Archbishop Prof. Ogbu founded the Impact Africa Network and Impact Africa Education Foundation, leading grassroots empowerment and drug-free campaigns across Africa and beyond.

He has presented human rights papers at:

  • United Nations Headquarters, New York
  • UN Office in Geneva
  • European Parliament, Brussels

In 2017, he was unanimously endorsed as President of the African Diaspora Union (AFRIDU)—the umbrella continental organization advocating for historic African communities and reparative justice.

  • National Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria, South Africa (CANSAF)

He is an Associate Professor of Chaplaincy, faculty leader, human rights educator, and cultural preservation advocate. His work blends theology, law, advocacy, heritage studies, and global diplomacy.
