Palma de Mallorca, Spain — The Mediterranean city of Palma de Mallorca will make history this November as it hosts the Clevenard Media Award 2025 for the very first time — a global event celebrating excellence across entertainment, entrepreneurship, fashion, innovation, leadership, and community empowerment.
The prestigious gathering, organized by Clevenard SL, will bring together leading entrepreneurs, creatives, public officials, NGOs, and community change-makers from around the world — recognizing individuals who are reshaping industries, driving innovation, and transforming lives.
Among the outstanding nominees being honored this year is Daisy Thato Selebogo, a visionary Talent Manager, Creative Director, and Event Coordinator from Botswana. Daisy has made a significant mark on the African entertainment industry through her creative leadership, strategic talent development, and commitment to amplifying African voices on the global stage.
A Journey Rooted in Passion, Innovation & Purpose
Daisy’s professional path embodies determination, creativity, and an unwavering belief in African talent. With a background in technology, marketing, and sales, she transitioned into the entertainment industry in 2012, beginning her career by managing the late Dramaboi, one of Botswana’s most celebrated Motswako rappers.
Her strategic approach quickly set her apart in a male-dominated field. Daisy was instrumental in securing groundbreaking deals for Dramaboi, including a music retail partnership with Choppies Supermarket, making his albums accessible to mainstream audiences, and a branding collaboration with a logistics company, where his image was featured on vehicles across Botswana — a first in local artist marketing.
In 2015, Daisy’s creative direction expanded further when she joined the management team of Amantle Brown, a leading pop artist in Botswana. Her strategic insight led to a major endorsement deal with CA Sales, funding Amantle’s music projects and videos. This partnership elevated Amantle’s profile, linking Botswana’s creative arts sector to the corporate world.
Building Bridges Through Collaboration
Daisy’s talent for identifying potential and creating meaningful partnerships drew the attention of international players. She later joined Xccess Africa, affiliated with South Africa’s EL World Entertainment, home to renowned artists such as Sun-EL Musician, Simmy, and S-Tone. Through this collaboration, Daisy contributed to regional music exchange, positioning Botswana artists within broader African markets.
Her experience with EL World Entertainment refined her management style — blending innovation, branding, and mentorship — paving the way for her to establish her own creative management powerhouse: DV Talents.
Founder & CEO, DV Talents Management – Elevating African Creativity
As the Founder and CEO of DV Talents, Daisy leads one of Botswana’s most dynamic artist management companies. Based in Gaborone, the firm is dedicated to nurturing and advancing the careers of creative talents across music, film, and digital arts, with a special focus on empowering artists to take ownership of their craft.
Founder & CEO, DV Talents Management operates on the belief that African creativity is a global force deserving international visibility and commercial value. The company’s mission centers on education, career development, brand strategy, and cross-border partnerships, ensuring artists are equipped to thrive both artistically and commercially.
Under her leadership, Founder & CEO, DV Talents Management has successfully positioned Botswana’s artists in international markets — creating pathways for collaborations, distribution deals, and performances that bridge the gap between Africa and the world.
