Lalyans Nouvo Sesel Connects with Seychellois in Two Weeks of Blitzes Across the Islands

Over the past two weeks, Lalyans Nouvo Sesel has led a dynamic series of blitzes across Mahé, Praslin, and La Digue. The goal has been simple but vital: to bring our candidates directly to the people — to listen, to engage, and to show that true leadership is about connection, not distance.
Last weekend, our campaign reached La Digue and Praslin, where the contrast in leadership was striking.
Our presidential and vice-presidential candidates walked for hours alongside supporters, greeting people of all parties — even those who shared the same boat or crossed their path. That is unity. That is respect. That is teamwork and dedication in action.
By contrast, Mr. Ramkalawan arrived in a club car, delivered divisive remarks, and mocked instead of inspired. Despite bussing in supporters from Mahé, his rally left much of La Digue’s gathering space empty. Even many of his own supporters warmly welcomed our candidates and voiced disappointment with his five years in office.
The energy of our blitzes on La Digue and Praslin speaks for itself. The warmth, the crowds, and the spirit of togetherness show that Seychellois are ready for change — ready for leaders who walk with them, not above them.
At Lalyans Nouvo Sesel, we lead with transparency, courage, and action. We were the first to release our manifesto — not days before the election, but well in advance — because the people deserve to know what their candidates stand for. Our vision is clear: lower the cost of living and build a government that serves the people, not itself.
Leadership means facing scrutiny, debating openly, and delivering solutions — not avoiding accountability. While others boycott debates and delay manifestos, we are ready with real plans and real results. This election is about our children, our families, and our nation. The choice is yours: choose courage, choose experience, choose a government that works for you.
Both old parties have failed Seychellois. Their silence on TRNUC compensation shows neither is prepared to address the past. One opposition party spends more energy discrediting candidates than presenting solutions, preaching transparency while voting against asset declarations for family members. The ruling party clings to power, while families continue to struggle with rising costs, bureaucracy, and waste.
The truth is simple: power itself does not corrupt, but fear of losing power does. Seychellois cannot afford to continue down the same path.
Across every neighborhood and community, our candidates have listened to citizens on the issues that matter most: housing, fisheries, education, healthcare, the drug crisis, the cost of living, and the future of our nation. The message is clear — the people are hungry for a government that listens, responds, and acts.
These blitzes prove one thing: leadership is not about parading on a stage or mocking others. Leadership is about walking with the people, working as a team, and delivering results. Lalyans Nouvo Sesel is present, committed, and ready to lead with integrity, courage, and vision.
