**Number 530 To become a man of steel you will go through fire:

Sometimes in life due to our failures and challenges we begin to feed our minds with negative thoughts. Such state of mind can very easily accelerate depression which often leads to mental health issues.

I used to be consumed by all the mistakes and opportunities I have squandered. I kept asking myself how could I have messed up so badly to the point of almost becoming a joke. How did I allow myself to be taken for a fool? Then the realisation came to me that every great man and woman in history has gone through a painful passage, including those born with silver spoons.

My failures, losses, mistakes and challenges are simply part of the needed process of transformation, redemption, accomplishment and establishment. I would not be the first and the last person to walk through the desert and wilderness.

I had to bring myself to the point where I suppressed the fear of failure when the knowledge that failure is part of the process to achievement came to my conscience.

People who parade themselves and boast that they never failed actually in reality in my opinion they never really tried. Goody goody of life may have been given to them on a platter of gold. One slight storm such people crumble and perish almost completely and immediately out of history. People that travel through the easy path truly do not have templates of testimony and legacy for the world to live by.

What you will go through; what you are going through and/or what you have gone through honestly amplify your place in history.

We have to constantly remind ourselves that the greatest successes in life comes from having the opportunities to fail woefully. Then after that episode comes endurance, determination, wisdom, long lasting and well deserved success stories.

Your race is not over yet; you have just begun.
