Dr. Gertrude Mortty's Biography

Dr. Gertrude Mortty, a result driven and career oriented woman.
With a deep interest and appreciation for cardiac physiology, I am driven by my passion to help others and an ambition to create change in the society.

I aim to combine my knowledge and passion for helping others to impact and improve individuals quality of life through cardiac physiology and echocardiography.

As a cardiac physiologist, I am involved with the application, monitoring and analytical procedures of echocardiograms (ECG), exercise stress tests, ambulatory holters/ hearth rhythm and blood pressure monitoring.

The best part of what I do is having direct interactions with patients, providing care and connecting with patients and their health outcome. Through my discipline, I have developed attributes that have contributed to and pushed me to strive for nothing but success in all my endeavours.

I enjoy reading, writing spoken spoken word poetry among others a good laugh.
