CLEVEnARD AND EAGLES EYE BUSINESS CHAMBER SIGN MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING TO STRENGTHEN INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS COOPERATION
Palma de Mallorca, Spain | Monday, 12 October 2026
BUILDING BRIDGES. CREATING OPPORTUNITIES. CONNECTING BUSINESSES ACROSS BORDERS.
CLEVEnARD and the Eagles Eye Business Chamber (EEBC) of South Africa have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), establishing a strategic framework for cooperation aimed at strengthening international business connections, promoting trade and investment, supporting enterprise development, and creating new opportunities for businesses across South Africa, Europe, Africa, and other international markets.
The MOU, signed on Monday, 12 October 2026, in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, represents an important step towards formalising and expanding the relationship between the two organisations. Through this agreement, CLEVEnARD and EEBC seek to develop practical initiatives that connect entrepreneurs, investors, business leaders, institutions, and other stakeholders across borders.
A STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP FOR INTERNATIONAL GROWTH
The partnership brings together the international business, media, networking, and event platforms of CLEVEnARD with the business development, enterprise empowerment, networking, and trade facilitation objectives of Eagles Eye Business Chamber.
The collaboration is intended to support meaningful engagement between South African businesses and international markets, with particular emphasis on creating opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMMEs), entrepreneurs, investors, and emerging businesses seeking greater visibility, strategic partnerships, and access to new markets.
Under the MOU, both organisations will explore opportunities for cooperation in areas including:
- International Trade and Investment: Facilitating connections between businesses, investors, institutions, and potential commercial partners.
- SMME Development and Internationalisation: Supporting enterprises in building relationships, improving visibility, and exploring opportunities beyond their domestic markets.
- Africa–Europe Business Connectivity: Strengthening business relationships between South Africa, Spain, Europe, and other international markets.
- Business Delegations and Trade Missions: Exploring opportunities for business visits, investment missions, institutional exchanges, and international networking.
- International Events and Business Forums: Developing opportunities for participation in conferences, summits, exhibitions, business forums, and networking initiatives.
- Media and Business Promotion: Exploring collaboration through CLEVEnARD's media platforms, including CLEVEnARD TV, to highlight business initiatives, entrepreneurial achievements, investment opportunities, and institutional activities.
- Sector-Specific Cooperation: Identifying suitable opportunities across areas such as agriculture, tourism, technology, education, manufacturing, creative industries, professional services, and other mutually agreed sectors.
The MOU provides an overarching framework for cooperation. Specific projects and initiatives may be developed through separate agreements setting out their objectives, responsibilities, timelines, and any applicable financial or commercial arrangements.
BUILDING ON AN EXISTING RELATIONSHIP
The signing builds on the existing relationship between CLEVEnARD and representatives associated with Eagles Eye Business Chamber.
During CLEVEnARD Open Project 2026, held in Alicante, Spain, from 27 to 30 August 2026, several individuals associated with the wider EEBC network received CLEVEnARD recognition. They included Mr. Ashley Mama, HRH Princess Nomakhushe Mtirara, Ms. Lerato Mabena, Dr. Angelique Coetzee, and Mr. Aidan Frank Baulackey.
The relationship has also been strengthened through CLEVEnARD TV, where Ms. Lerato Mabena, Executive Treasurer of Eagles Eye Business Chamber, participated in a discussion addressing economic empowerment and the importance of connecting African SMMEs with global investment opportunities.
These engagements have helped establish a foundation for further institutional cooperation and a shared interest in connecting businesses with wider opportunities.
LEADERSHIP AND INSTITUTIONAL COOPERATION
Eagles Eye Business Chamber is represented in this partnership by Mr. Vuyo Khala, Executive Chairperson, and Ms. Lerato Mabena, Executive Treasurer.
CLEVEnARD is represented by Adefaratoluwa Osindero Olutimehin, also known as Tolu Osindero, CEO, President, and Owner of CLEVEnARD.
Through this cooperation, the organisations aim to move beyond general networking towards identifying practical initiatives that can deliver value to their respective business communities. The focus will be on exploring opportunities, developing mutually beneficial programmes, and creating connections that can support sustainable business growth.
CLEVEnARD OPEN PROJECT 2027: A FUTURE PLATFORM FOR COLLABORATION
One of the potential platforms for future engagement is CLEVEnARD Open Project 2027, scheduled for 22–25 June 2027 at the Palacio de Congresos de Torremolinos in Torremolinos, Málaga, Spain.
The four-day international event is designed to bring together business leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, professionals, institutions, and other stakeholders across multiple sectors. It offers a potential platform for further engagement between CLEVEnARD, EEBC, South African businesses, and international partners.
The two organisations may explore opportunities for business participation, networking, trade and investment discussions, institutional representation, and other collaborative activities, subject to mutual agreement and the relevant arrangements.
A FRAMEWORK FOR LONG-TERM COLLABORATION
The MOU establishes a foundation for ongoing dialogue, coordination, and the development of specific cooperative initiatives. It does not require either organisation to participate in every proposed activity; individual projects will be considered and agreed upon according to their suitability, objectives, and mutually accepted terms.
This flexible approach allows CLEVEnARD and EEBC to identify opportunities as they emerge, while ensuring that the practical details of each initiative can be addressed separately.
The partnership reflects a shared commitment to strengthening international relationships, supporting enterprise development, and creating opportunities for businesses to connect, collaborate, and explore new markets.
OFFICIAL STATEMENT
Commenting on the agreement, Adefaratoluwa Osindero Olutimehin (Tolu Osindero), CEO, President, and Owner of CLEVEnARD, said:
“The signing of this Memorandum of Understanding with Eagles Eye Business Chamber marks an important step in strengthening our institutional relationship and expanding opportunities for international cooperation. We believe that meaningful partnerships should create pathways for businesses to connect with markets, investors, knowledge, and opportunities that may otherwise be beyond their reach.
Through this framework, CLEVEnARD and EEBC can explore practical initiatives that support entrepreneurs, empower SMMEs, encourage trade and investment, and strengthen business relationships between South Africa, Europe, and the wider international community.
