Clevenard Group Worldwide Strengthens Africa–Europe Relations Through High-Level Engagements During Clevenard Open Project 2026 in Alicante
ALICANTE, SPAIN — 2 September 2026 — The Clevenard Open Project 2026, held at the Palacio de Congresos Alicante, Avinguda de Dénia 47–49, 03013 Alicante, Spain, concluded successfully following an excellent programme of international dialogue, networking, recognition and strategic engagements.
During the highly successful event, Adefaratoluwa Osindero Olutimehin, Founder, Chief Executive Officer and President of Clevenard Group Worldwide, held a series of high-level meetings with prominent South African leaders, traditional leaders, entrepreneurs and distinguished personalities.
Among those engagements was a meeting with Mr. Masango George Manyike, Mayor of Moretele Local Municipality, Republic of South Africa. Discussions focused on opportunities for international cooperation, economic development, tourism, investment, visibility and stronger connections between African communities and international markets.
Clevenard and Moretele Municipality Set to Strengthen Cooperation
As part of the growing relationship, Clevenard Group Worldwide is preparing to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Moretele Local Municipality.
The proposed MOU is intended to establish a framework for cooperation aimed at attracting tourism and investment between Africa and the African diaspora, while creating greater international visibility for the municipality and opening opportunities for investors, businesses, tourists, institutions and development partners.
The proposed collaboration will seek to promote Moretele as a destination for tourism, investment, cultural engagement and economic opportunities, while using Clevenard's international networks and platforms to connect the municipality with African diaspora communities and stakeholders across Europe and other parts of the world.
The partnership is expected to explore opportunities in areas including tourism development, investment promotion, trade, culture and heritage, business development, international networking, education, media visibility and sustainable economic development.
Mr. Osindero Adefaratoluwa also met with Dr. Sello Stephen Setshedi, further strengthening Clevenard's commitment to developing meaningful relationships with African professionals, institutions and leaders internationally.
Another significant engagement was held with His Royal Highness Prince Maloka, reflecting Clevenard's continued interest in working with traditional leadership and cultural institutions to promote African heritage, leadership, culture, development and international collaboration.
The Clevenard leadership also held an important meeting with Mrs. Khabonina Nomsa Jiyane, Founder of eKhabo – Luxury Rooted in Heritage. The engagement highlighted the importance of African heritage, culture, entrepreneurship, luxury and the preservation and promotion of indigenous identity on the global stage.
As the Founder of eKhabo, Mrs. Jiyane represents an entrepreneurial approach that places heritage and cultural identity at the heart of luxury, creating opportunities to showcase African stories, craftsmanship, identity and heritage to wider international audiences.
Building Bridges Between Africa and the Diaspora
