ALAIN ST.ANGE OF SEYCHELLES AWARDED 'HONORARY AWARD' BY HOSPITALITY AWARDS AFRICA AT LAGOS EVENT IN NIGERIA

The October 24th Hospitality Awards Africa ceremony in Lagos Nigeria saw Ambassador Alain St.Ange of the Seychelles, and the highly respected tourism personality from Africa, recognised for his outstanding leadership, distinguished service, and significant contribution to

the Hospitality and Tourism industry in Africa.

"This 'Honorary Award' acknowledges your professional excellence, commitment to industry

development, and lasting impact on the hospitality sector" was the message conveyed to Ambassador Alain St.Ange who was not able to be present at the Awards Ceremony that was being held in Lagos Nigeria but who had sent a video message to the Award Ceremony Organisers.

"The Board and Judges of Hospitality Awards Africa proudly recognize and commend your

contribution and dedication to advancing hospitality excellence across Africa. Congratulations" their message went on to say.

The 8th Hospitality Awards Africa 2026 held on the 24 October 2026 at the Sheraton Lagos Hotel of Ikeja in Lagos, Nigeria fell on the birthday of Ambassador Alain St.Ange of the Seychelles.

Africa celebrated at a grand Black-tie event the outstanding

achievements and contributions of Ambassador Alain St.Ange to African Hospitality Industry as he was wished continued success.

Alain St.Ange posted a personal message on his Linkedle page saying: - "I am honoured to have received this Honorary Award at the 8th edition of the Hospitality Award Africa. I am humbled by the recognition and doubly touched that the Award Ceremony was held on my birthday. Thank you to the Team who worked alongside me during my years of service as Minister responsible for Tourism, Civil Aviation, Ports & Marine of the Seychelles and before that as CEO of the island's Tourism Board. You have helped me deliver for our tourism industry" he said.

Ambassador St.Ange has received a large number of Awards, Recognitions and Accolades for his work in the field of tourism and continues to be a sought after speaker at International Conferences on tourism, aviation and the blue economy.
