With more than 30 years of professional experience spanning financial services, insurance, mortgage servicing, treasury support, administration, client relations and team supervision, Beverly brings a valuable combination of financial-sector knowledge, business experience and community-focused leadership to her work connecting Africa with its global Diaspora.
Her current initiatives focus on strengthening Africa–Diaspora relationships, mobilising investment, supporting youth empowerment, encouraging entrepreneurship and creating opportunities for cultural reconnection and sustainable development.
On Day 2, 23 June 2027, Beverly will address participants at the Global Economy, Trade, Solid Minerals, Agriculture & Investment Summit, sharing perspectives shaped by her experience in financial services, partnership development and initiatives designed to connect Diaspora communities with Africa’s economic and social development.
DAY 2 FEATURED SPEAKER — 23 JUNE 2027
Global Economy, Trade, Solid Minerals, Agriculture & Investment Summit
Beverly’s participation will highlight the importance of connecting financial resources, professional expertise, entrepreneurial experience and international networks with development opportunities across Africa.
Her work is grounded in the belief that Africa’s global family can make a meaningful contribution to the continent’s future through investment, mentorship, knowledge exchange, cultural understanding and strategic partnerships.
By encouraging stronger connections between African communities, Diaspora professionals and emerging entrepreneurs, Beverly advocates for practical approaches that empower young people, strengthen businesses and support long-term economic opportunity.
Her vision also reflects broader aspirations for youth development, entrepreneurship, innovation and the African Union’s Agenda 2063.
LEADING AFRICA–DIASPORA PARTNERSHIPS THROUGH BIZLINKAGE SME DIASPORA
Since June 2026, Beverly has served as CEO of BizLinkage SME Diaspora, part of the BizLinkage SME Global Network. In this role, she leads partnership-focused work connecting small and medium-sized enterprises with Diaspora networks and opportunities for collaboration across regions.
Her work supports relationship-building and cross-border engagement linking Africa, the Caribbean and the wider Diaspora. By encouraging businesses and networks to connect across geographical boundaries, she seeks to strengthen collaboration and expand access to opportunities for enterprise development.
This work complements her broader mission of bringing people, ideas, business relationships and investment opportunities together in ways that can support economic participation and shared progress.
ADVANCING YOUTH EMPOWERMENT AND DIASPORA INVESTMENT
Beverly also serves as Senior Representative and Senior Manager of the Africa Rise Diaspora Investment Forum under Africa Rise Youth Indaba (ARYI), a role she began in July 2026.
Through her involvement with the ARYI Diaspora Investment Program, she supports initiatives focused on Africa–Diaspora engagement, youth mentorship, entrepreneurship, investment mobilisation and strategic partnerships.
Her work includes stakeholder outreach, knowledge exchange and efforts to connect young people and Diaspora communities with opportunities for development. ARYI has engaged with the African Union and participated in programme discussions connected to AFESTACC in Ghana.
Beverly believes that the experience and resources of the African Diaspora can help open new pathways for African youth, particularly when investment is accompanied by mentorship, professional development, entrepreneurial support and meaningful collaboration.
Her approach emphasises the importance of creating opportunities not only for financial investment, but also for skills transfer, relationship-building and the development of future leaders.
ONE AFRICA — PEACE AND HOMECOMING INITIATIVE: RECONNECTING AFRICA WITH ITS GLOBAL FAMILY
As founder and Executive Director of the One Africa – Peace and Homecoming Initiative, established in August 2026, Beverly is advancing a people-centred vision of peace, unity, cultural reconnection and renewed relationships between Africa and its global family.
The initiative seeks to strengthen connections between the African continent and members of the Diaspora, including descendants of the Transatlantic Slave Trade, by encouraging cultural reconnection, ancestral exploration, community engagement and opportunities to contribute to Africa’s future.
Its planned activities include peaceful prayer walks, cultural exchange, community participation and initiatives designed to encourage the return of skills, talent, knowledge and investment to African communities.
The initiative’s guiding message expresses the heart of Beverly’s vision:
“Uniting Africa • Welcoming Her Children • Building Our Future.”
Through this work, she seeks to help build bridges across borders and generations, encouraging Africans on the continent and throughout the Diaspora to recognise their shared heritage and collective potential.
Her long-term ambition is to support a broader pan-African movement centred on peace, belonging, collaboration and a shared commitment to development.
FINANCIAL SERVICES EXPERIENCE BUILT OVER THREE DECADES
Beverly’s current entrepreneurial and community leadership builds on a career spanning more than 30 years across financial services, insurance, administration, treasury support, mortgage servicing and client relations.
Her professional experience includes serving as a Mortgage Servicing Professional at Cenlar FSB, where she handled customer enquiries involving mortgage payments, escrow analysis, insurance and taxes, researched customer concerns and supported operational compliance.
At Global Advisory Services, Inc., she provided administrative and customer-service support, coordinated projects and meetings, prepared reports and assisted with insurance applications and employee-benefits enquiries.
Earlier, as a Field Manager and Supervising Agent at American Income Life Insurance Company, she supported client acquisition, insurance presentations, policy completion and renewals, while supervising agents and assisting with sales and marketing activities.
Her experience also includes working as Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Treasury & Risk at Hagemeyer North America, Inc., supporting treasury, cash applications, accounting and risk operations. Her responsibilities included banking reports, merchant-account administration, insurance documentation, securities reporting and cross-department projects.
At Merrill Lynch, she supported client accounts, financial consultants, appointments and client communications, gaining additional experience in financial-services operations and customer relationships.
These roles have given Beverly a broad understanding of client service, financial administration, operational coordination and professional relationship management — experience she now brings to her work in entrepreneurship, Diaspora engagement and development-focused partnerships.
FOUNDER OF A MOVEMENT FOR CULTURAL RECONNECTION AND AFRICAN STORYTELLING
Beverly’s wider vision extends beyond investment and business partnerships. She is committed to encouraging a deeper understanding of Africa’s heritage, identity, people, achievements and emerging opportunities.
Through her initiatives, she seeks to encourage members of the Diaspora to discover their ancestral connections, build relationships with African communities and explore opportunities in heritage tourism, real estate, entrepreneurship and responsible investment.
Her planned cultural engagement and storytelling activities aim to create greater awareness of Africa’s diversity and potential while supporting stronger connections between the continent and its global family.
For Beverly, reconnection is not simply about looking to the past. It is also about creating a foundation for future collaboration, economic opportunity and a stronger sense of shared purpose.
ENTREPRENEURSHIP, PARTNERSHIP DEVELOPMENT AND COMMUNITY IMPACT
Beverly’s entrepreneurial interests include real estate, land acquisition and development, Diaspora-to-Africa tours, investment facilitation and initiatives that encourage the contribution of skills and resources to African communities.
Her approach brings together three interconnected priorities:
- Economic empowerment: Encouraging business relationships, responsible investment and entrepreneurship across Africa and its Diaspora.
- Youth development: Supporting mentorship, skills transfer, leadership development and opportunities for the next generation.
- Cultural reconnection and peace-building: Creating opportunities for people to reconnect with their heritage, strengthen relationships and participate in community development.
Through these priorities, Beverly aims to help establish meaningful connections between business opportunities and the people and communities that can benefit from them.
EDUCATION, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND CORE EXPERTISE
Beverly has completed coursework at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York and Lincoln College of Technology in Norcross, Georgia, alongside additional college coursework in healthcare, finance and administrative support.
Her professional capabilities include financial-services and client relations, insurance operations, Diaspora engagement, partnership development, youth mentorship, entrepreneurship initiatives, administrative coordination, stakeholder communications and project support.
She has also held professional licences in Accident & Health, Life and Fixed Annuities in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and Maryland, as listed in her previous résumé.
Her combination of financial-sector experience and community-focused entrepreneurship informs her current efforts to connect business, investment, culture and development.
A VISION ROOTED IN LEGACY, UNITY AND SHARED PROGRESS
Across her leadership with BizLinkage SME Diaspora, Africa Rise Youth Indaba and the One Africa – Peace and Homecoming Initiative, Beverly J. Sibert continues to pursue a common purpose: building bridges between people, cultures, businesses and opportunities.
Her work reflects the conviction that Africa’s future can be strengthened when young people are empowered, entrepreneurs are connected to new opportunities and the global African family is given meaningful ways to participate in the continent’s development.
Her participation at Clevenard Open Project 2027 will bring these priorities to an international audience, contributing to discussions about Diaspora investment, entrepreneurship, cultural reconnection and the power of global collaboration.
