TORREMOLINOS, MÁLAGA, SPAIN — 5 OCTOBER 2026 — Clevenard is pleased to announce the appointment of Olivia Joseph-Aluko, LLB, B.L., MA (Law) as an Advisory Ambassador of the Clevenard Open Project 2027, taking place from 22–25 June 2027 at the Palacio de Congresos de Torremolinos, Málaga, Spain.
Olivia Joseph-Aluko is a distinguished British-Nigerian academic lawyer, author, researcher and advocate of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with extensive experience spanning law, migration, human security, social justice, governance, academia and community development.
Her appointment strengthens Clevenard's growing International Ambassadorial Programme and brings valuable expertise at the intersection of law, policy, human development, diaspora engagement and sustainable development.
A LEADER CONNECTING LAW, POLICY AND HUMAN DEVELOPMENT
Olivia Joseph-Aluko was admitted as a Solicitor and Barrister of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in 1992 and holds a Master's degree in Migration and Law from Queen Mary University of London. Her professional and academic work has focused on issues including migration, governance, human security, social inclusion, gender justice and sustainable development.
She is also a member of the World Association for Sustainable Development (WASD), where she serves as a rapporteur, contributing to international policy dialogue and documentation involving WASD and the United Nations Joint Inspection Unit in Geneva.
Beyond her legal and academic work, Olivia is committed to strengthening connections within the African diaspora. She is affiliated with Initiatives of Change UK and is the Founder and Director of the Reinvent African Diaspora Network (RADET), an educational platform promoting socio-economic empowerment, cultural identity and dialogue within diaspora communities.
HER ROLE AS ADVISORY AMBASSADOR
As an Advisory Ambassador, Olivia Joseph-Aluko will bring her international experience and expertise to Clevenard's global platforms, supporting dialogue, strategic engagement and connections across institutions, professionals, communities and international stakeholders.

The Advisory Ambassador role will provide opportunities for Olivia to contribute to Clevenard's international programmes while supporting the organisation's objective of creating meaningful connections between people, institutions, ideas and opportunities across borders.
CONTINUING THE CLEVENARD CONNECTION
Olivia Joseph-Aluko was previously announced by Clevenard as a distinguished honouree of the Clevenard Global Authors' Recognition 2026, held in Alicante, Spain, where her contributions as an author, academic lawyer and advocate for sustainable development were recognised.
Her published works address important international issues including gender inequality, migration, globalisation, human security, social inclusion and Africa's development potential, further reflecting the breadth of experience she brings to the Clevenard network.
Her transition from honouree to Advisory Ambassador represents a continuation of that relationship and opens a new chapter of collaboration with Clevenard.
CLEVEnARD OPEN PROJECT 2027
The Clevenard Open Project 2027 will take place from 22–25 June 2027 at the Palacio de Congresos de Torremolinos, Málaga, Spain.
Under the motto:
PRESENT. PROMOTE. CONNECT. COLLABORATE.
The four-day international platform will bring together distinguished leaders, professionals, entrepreneurs, investors, academics, government and diplomatic representatives, creatives, innovators and organisations from different sectors and regions of the world.
The 2027 programme will feature dedicated platforms covering education, authors and publishing, global economy, trade, agriculture, investment, tourism, international film, fashion, culture and international collaboration.
