TORREMOLINOS, MÁLAGA, SPAIN — 29 SEPTEMBER 2026 — Clevenard is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Zama Phakathi as an Advisory Ambassador of the Clevenard Open Project 2027.

The appointment forms part of the developing Clevenard International Ambassadorial Programme, established to bring together distinguished leaders, professionals, experts and international connectors whose experience, knowledge and perspectives can contribute meaningfully to Clevenard's international platforms.

A DISTINGUISHED ENTREPRENEURIAL AND LEADERSHIP PROFILE

Ms. Zama Phakathi is a South African entrepreneur, business strategist and philanthropic leader with professional experience spanning marketing, communications, digital transformation, enterprise development and social impact.

She is the founder of Splendid Marketing and Communications, a multidisciplinary business group operating across areas including marketing, branding, public relations, digital transformation, IT solutions, event management, skills development and training.

Her work also extends into community and social development. Through the Zama Phakathi Foundation, she supports initiatives connected with youth empowerment, entrepreneurship, career guidance, education and community development.

Her combination of entrepreneurial experience, leadership, communication expertise and commitment to development provides an important perspective for Clevenard's growing international network.

HER ROLE AS AN ADVISORY AMBASSADOR

As an Advisory Ambassador, Ms. Phakathi will contribute her professional experience and strategic perspectives to selected Clevenard programmes, discussions and international engagements.

Her areas of contribution will include:

• Marketing and strategic communications
• Digital transformation and innovation
• Women's economic empowerment
• Youth development
• Leadership and mentorship

Through this role, Ms. Phakathi will have opportunities to contribute to discussions involving entrepreneurs, business leaders, investors, professionals, institutions, young people and other international stakeholders connected to the Clevenard platform.

Her experience will also support Clevenard's wider objective of encouraging entrepreneurship, innovation, skills development, inclusive economic participation and international collaboration.

AN EXISTING RELATIONSHIP WITH CLEVEnARD

The appointment builds upon Ms. Phakathi's existing relationship with Clevenard.

She participated in the Clevenard Open Project 2026 as a keynote speaker, contributing to the Global Economy, Trade, Solid Minerals, Agriculture & Investment Summit.

Her scheduled keynote focused on:

“Building Sustainable African Enterprises Through Innovation, Leadership, and Inclusive Growth.”

Ms. Phakathi was also selected to receive a Clevenard Honorary Award at the 2026 Clevenard Global Awards in recognition of her leadership, entrepreneurship and contribution to inclusive economic transformation.

Her appointment as an Advisory Ambassador therefore represents a continuation of her engagement with Clevenard and creates an opportunity for her experience and perspectives to contribute further to the organisation's international activities.

THE CLEVEnARD INTERNATIONAL AMBASSADORIAL PROGRAMME

The Clevenard International Ambassadorial Programme is being progressively developed as a structured network of distinguished individuals whose experience, expertise, leadership and international relationships can contribute to Clevenard's global activities.

The programme encompasses several areas of contribution, including:

• Honorary Ambassadors

As an Advisory Ambassador, Ms. Phakathi will contribute primarily through professional knowledge, strategic perspectives, knowledge exchange and participation in selected Clevenard engagements.

The appointment is a distinguished voluntary position based on professional experience, knowledge and contribution. It is not an employment position and does not constitute a governmental or diplomatic appointment.
