TORREMOLINOS, MÁLAGA, SPAIN — Clevenard is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs. Sindi Zilwa, CA(SA), CD(SA), DBA (Honoris Causa), as an Advisory Ambassador of the Clevenard Open Project 2027.

The appointment forms part of Clevenard's developing International Ambassadorial Programme, established to bring together distinguished leaders, professionals, experts and international connectors whose knowledge, experience and perspectives can contribute meaningfully to Clevenard's global platforms.

Mrs. Sindi Zilwa brings a distinguished record of professional leadership spanning corporate governance, finance, auditing, risk management, strategy, business leadership and ethical corporate practice. She became the second Black woman Chartered Accountant in South Africa in 1990 and subsequently co-founded Nkonki, where she served as Chief Executive Officer from 1998 to 2016.

Her career has also included senior board and committee responsibilities across major organisations, contributing to areas including governance, audit and risk, investment and corporate strategy. She is also an author and thought leader whose governance frameworks have been developed to support boards, executives and governance professionals.

AN ADVISORY ROLE BUILT AROUND EXPERIENCE

As an Advisory Ambassador, Mrs. Zilwa will contribute her professional knowledge and strategic perspectives to selected Clevenard programmes, discussions and initiatives.

Her areas of contribution will particularly include:

• Board effectiveness

• Business transformation and organisational excellence

Through this role, Mrs. Zilwa will have an opportunity to contribute to conversations involving business leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, professionals, institutions and emerging leaders across Clevenard's international network.

Her experience will also support Clevenard's efforts to promote informed dialogue around responsible leadership, good governance, professional excellence and sustainable economic development.

A CONTINUING RELATIONSHIP WITH CLEVEnARD

Mrs. Zilwa's appointment builds upon her existing relationship with Clevenard.

She was previously announced as a distinguished honouree of the Clevenard Global Awards – 3rd Edition and a keynote speaker at the Clevenard Open Project 2026 in Alicante, Spain. Her keynote was centred on ethical leadership and corporate accountability in a rapidly changing global economy.

The new appointment therefore represents a further recognition of the value of her experience and professional perspective within the Clevenard international platform.

CLEVEnARD'S INTERNATIONAL AMBASSADORIAL PROGRAMME

Clevenard is progressively developing its International Ambassadorial Programme as a structured network of distinguished individuals whose experience, expertise, leadership and international relationships can contribute to the organisation's global activities.

The programme encompasses different areas of contribution, including Advisory Ambassadors, Global Ambassadors, Regional Ambassadors, Sector Ambassadors and Honorary Ambassadors.

As an Advisory Ambassador, Mrs. Zilwa will contribute primarily through professional insight, strategic perspectives, knowledge exchange and participation in selected Clevenard engagements.

The appointment is a distinguished voluntary position based on professional experience, knowledge and contribution. It is not an employment position and does not constitute a governmental or diplomatic appointment.

CLEVEnARD OPEN PROJECT 2027

The 6th Edition of the Clevenard Open Project will take place from 22–25 June 2027 in Torremolinos, Málaga, Spain.

The 2027 programme will bring together business leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, diplomats, government representatives, academics, educators, innovators, media professionals, creatives, tourism leaders and other international participants.

The programme will also incorporate the 4th Edition of the Clevenard Global Awards, the 5th Edition of the Clevenard Global Fashion Summit, and the 1st Edition of the Clevenard Fashion & Beauty Pageant.
