TORREMOLINOS, MÁLAGA, SPAIN — Clevenard is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Melody Kweba, pioneering Pan-African entrepreneur, financial professional, mining-sector leader and advocate for women's participation in Africa's mineral and extractive industries, as an Advisory Ambassador of the Clevenard Open Project 2027.

The appointment forms part of Clevenard's developing International Ambassadorial Programme, which brings together distinguished professionals, leaders, experts and international connectors whose experience, knowledge and networks can contribute meaningfully to Clevenard's international platforms.

Ms. Kweba brings extensive experience across finance, mining, entrepreneurship, women's economic empowerment, investment, leadership and African development. She is the Founder and 1st President of the Association of Women in Mining in Africa (AWIMA) and has held a range of leadership and board positions within the mining, business and development sectors.

Her professional background provides a valuable perspective on the relationship between natural resources, finance, investment, entrepreneurship, women's leadership and economic transformation.

AN ADVISORY ROLE BUILT AROUND EXPERIENCE

As an Advisory Ambassador, Ms. Kweba will contribute her experience and professional perspectives to selected Clevenard programmes, discussions and international initiatives, particularly in the areas of mining, investment, entrepreneurship, women's economic participation, financial development and African economic transformation.

Her role will also support Clevenard's efforts to encourage meaningful connections between business leaders, investors, entrepreneurs, institutions, professionals and development stakeholders across Africa and the international community.

Through her experience in the mining and financial sectors, Ms. Kweba can contribute to conversations around responsible investment, economic participation, entrepreneurship, ownership and opportunities for women within strategic sectors of the African economy.

FROM HONOURED GUEST TO ADVISORY AMBASSADOR

Ms. Kweba is already a prominent participant in the Clevenard Open Project 2027, where she is scheduled to deliver a keynote address on 23 June 2027 during the Global Economy, Trade, Solid Minerals, Agriculture & Investment Summit.

Her keynote will focus on Africa's mineral potential and the role of women, investment, entrepreneurship and inclusive economic participation in unlocking that potential.

She will also receive a Clevenard Honorary Award on 25 June 2027 during the Clevenard Global Awards — 4th Edition, recognising her contributions to women's leadership, mining, economic empowerment, entrepreneurship and African development.

The Advisory Ambassador appointment therefore builds upon an already established relationship with Clevenard and recognises the value of her experience and contribution to the wider international platform.

A DISTINGUISHED INTERNATIONAL NETWORK

Clevenard is progressively developing its International Ambassadorial Programme as a structured network of distinguished individuals whose professional experience, leadership, expertise and international relationships can contribute to dialogue, collaboration and opportunity across continents.

The programme includes different areas of contribution, including Advisory Ambassadors, Global Ambassadors, Regional Ambassadors, Sector Ambassadors and Honorary Ambassadors.

Ms. Melody Kweba joins the programme as an Advisory Ambassador, bringing particular expertise in mining, finance, investment, entrepreneurship, women's economic empowerment and African development.

Her appointment reflects Clevenard's commitment to ensuring that its international platforms are supported not only by visibility and representation, but also by knowledge, experience and meaningful professional contribution.

CLEVEnARD OPEN PROJECT 2027

The Clevenard Open Project 2027 will take place from 22–25 June 2027 at the Palacio de Congresos de Torremolinos, Málaga, Spain.

The four-day international gathering will bring together business leaders, policymakers, diplomats, investors, entrepreneurs, development practitioners, creatives, educators and thought leaders from Africa, Europe, the Caribbean and beyond.

Under the theme:

“A Global Celebration of Business, Culture, Creativity & Human Connection.”

the 2027 edition will create platforms for dialogue, investment, cultural exchange, professional networking, collaboration and international engagement.
