A Global Leader with a Remarkable Legacy

Dr. Adeola Adeleye-Fasubaa, Esq., holds an impressive portfolio of academic and professional qualifications, including BA, LLB, BL, LLM, MCIArb, MIDRI, FSABA, and FIIM.

She is a Barrister, Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, a seasoned Mediator, Counsellor and Arbitrator, and an internationally sought-after Speaker and Strategic Leadership Expert.

Her distinguished career spans law, public administration, taxation, media, leadership, humanitarian service, philanthropy, community development, and diaspora relations.

After beginning her professional journey in Nigeria, including experience with Classique Magazine and the Nigeria Television Authority, Ilorin, Dr. Adeleye-Fasubaa moved to the United Kingdom, where she worked across the media, hospitality, local government, and civil service sectors.

She spent approximately two decades with Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC), serving in various capacities and rising through the ranks to become a Tax Specialist and Trainer. She was also a warranted officer of HMRC and made history as the first person of African descent, and the only Nigerian, to manage the Custom House in Gravesend, which at the time had an annual turnover exceeding £100 million.

Her commitment to continuous learning subsequently led her to pursue legal and postgraduate education at the University of Wolverhampton and Robert Gordon University, followed by professional legal training at the Nigerian Law School, Abuja.

Championing Diaspora Engagement and Nation-Building

Dr. Adeleye-Fasubaa has dedicated significant energy to building networks and platforms that connect people, empower communities, and strengthen national development.

She is the Founder and President of OSUA Connection Legacy Foundation, an organisation serving people who attended, worked at, or are connected with the former Ondo State University, Ado-Ekiti. The foundation focuses on networking, leadership, nation-building, and philanthropy.

In October 2023, she was appointed the Pioneer Director-General, Ekiti Diaspora Relations, Ekiti State Government, Nigeria, further strengthening her position as a leading voice in diaspora affairs and international engagement.

She has also played pioneering roles in alumni organisations, including the UK Alumni of Methodist Girls’ High School and the Ekiti State University Alumni Association.

A Passionate Humanitarian and Advocate

Beyond her professional achievements, Dr. Adeleye-Fasubaa is deeply committed to humanitarian and community development initiatives.

She is the founder of the Oasis Empowerment and Advocacy Foundation, established in response to challenges including abuse, youth crime, human trafficking, gun and knife crime, and drug abuse among young people.

Her leadership extends across numerous humanitarian, philanthropic, professional, faith-based, educational, and community organisations.

She has served as a Peace Ambassador of the Universal Peace Federation, Ambassador of Merit Time International, Trustee of the Humrenmon Foundation on Diabetes and Lifestyle, and in various leadership and advisory roles connected to education, community development, alumni engagement, and investment.

She is also a long-serving church leader and has been involved in ministry and women's empowerment for more than three decades.

Dr. Adeleye-Fasubaa has received numerous honours for her leadership, humanitarian service, and professional contributions.

Her recognitions include the Distinguished Merit Icon and Ambassador Award, the Impactful Woman Award in Ghana, the Nelson Mandela Leadership Award of Excellence and Integrity, and her appointment as an Ambassador for Peace by the Universal Peace Federation, UK, an organisation in permanent consultative status with the United Nations.

In 2022, she was appointed an ECOWAS Youth Ambassador by the West African Youth Council and has also served as a UNDP/Merit Ambassador.
