The honorary recognition will be formally presented on Day 4 – Sunday, 30 August 2026, during the Clevenard Global Awards – 3rd Edition 2026, the flagship awards ceremony of the Clevenard Open Project. Held alongside the spectacular International Fashion Runway, the awards celebrate visionary global leaders whose work has created lasting impact across nations, cultures, and generations.
In recognition of his remarkable contribution to indigenous rights, legal reform, cultural preservation, and sustainable economic development, Keikabile Mogodu will also be featured as a Keynote Speaker on Day 3 – Saturday, 29 August 2026, during the Global Tourism & International Film Celebration.

About Keikabile Mogodu
Keikabile Mogodu is a Botswana-based attorney, policy practitioner, and emerging regional leader in indigenous development. He is widely recognised as a regional architect of indigenous development, with expertise at the intersection of law, culture, and economic empowerment throughout Southern Africa.
As a respected policy and cultural strategist, he has designed and contributed to initiatives advancing indigenous rights, strengthening community governance, and promoting sustainable livelihoods through Community-Based Natural Resource Management (CBNRM).
Working directly with indigenous communities across Botswana, he supports legal empowerment, institutional reform, equitable benefit-sharing systems, and community-led development initiatives. His unique ability to bridge legal frameworks with practical community solutions has positioned him as a respected voice in regional policy development.
Mogodu has played an influential role in advocacy and policy processes through organisations including the Botswana Khwedom Council, the Working Group for Indigenous Minorities in Southern Africa (WIMSA), and the Indigenous Peoples Network of Southern Africa (IPNSA), contributing to regional dialogue on indigenous governance, land rights, cultural preservation, and sustainable development.
