The honorary recognition will be formally presented on Day 4 – Sunday, 30 August 2026, during the Clevenard Global Awards – 3rd Edition 2026, the flagship awards ceremony of the Clevenard Open Project. His visionary leadership has significantly influenced the African media and communications landscape, inspiring businesses, institutions, and young entrepreneurs to embrace digital transformation.

His remarkable achievements include being named the 2019 South African Men of the Year in the Media Category, an initiative of the South African Department of Social Development. He was also recognised among the 100 Mandelas of the Future, acknowledging his exceptional leadership, innovation, and commitment to social impact.

As the founder of Afro Connect (Africa Connect Online), Christopher created one of Africa's pioneering digital platforms connecting people across 48 African countries. The platform was designed to preserve and promote positive African stories, celebrate African excellence, educate young people on responsible social media usage, and help university students build professional digital portfolios that enhance employability. Since its inception, Afro Connect has created employment opportunities for more than 500 young people, demonstrating Christopher's unwavering commitment to youth empowerment and sustainable economic development.

Christopher also serves on the Advisory Committee for the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT), contributing to its Journalism, Public Relations, and International Relations programmes.
