The honorary recognition will be formally presented on Sunday, 30 August 2026, during the highly anticipated Clevenard Global Awards – 3rd Edition 2026, the flagship awards ceremony of the Clevenard Open Project. Held alongside the International Fashion Runway, the awards celebrate visionary global leaders whose contributions have created lasting impact across nations, industries, and generations.

In addition to receiving the honorary distinction, Prince Monna will deliver a keynote address on Day 3 – Saturday, 29 August 2026, during the Global Tourism & International Film Celebration, where he will share insights drawn from more than two decades of leadership across governance, culture, investment, and institutional transformation.

His presentation is expected to inspire policymakers, investors, entrepreneurs, creatives, development practitioners, and emerging leaders from across Africa, Europe, the Caribbean, and beyond.

Prince Monna is a Botswana-based Institution Builder, Creative Economy Strategist, Investment Facilitation Specialist, Governance Leader, Filmmaker, and Cultural Diplomat whose work sits at the intersection of institutional transformation, investment, creativity, governance, and sustainable development.

For more than twenty years, he has championed practical frameworks that strengthen institutions, enhance economic competitiveness, unlock investment opportunities, and create measurable public value. His multidisciplinary expertise integrates governance, policy reform, cultural intelligence, creative enterprise development, strategic leadership, and investment facilitation to drive sustainable growth and long-term societal impact.

He currently serves as Chairperson of the National Arts Council of Botswana (NACB), providing strategic leadership for Botswana’s arts, culture, heritage, and creative industries. Under his stewardship, the Council continues to advance institutional modernization, governance excellence, policy innovation, commercialization of creative assets, and the positioning of the creative economy as a key pillar of national development.

Prince Monna is also the Founder and Managing Director of BrandIQ (Pty) Ltd, a strategic advisory and creative enterprise specializing in governance systems, institutional development, cultural intelligence, media production, brand strategy, and creative economy innovation.

In addition, he serves as Director of Squaregate Group, an investment facilitation and ESG advisory firm dedicated to structuring investment-ready opportunities, mobilizing strategic partnerships, and connecting governments, investors, development partners, and enterprises with sustainable financing solutions.

An accomplished filmmaker, producer, writer, director, and creative strategist, Prince Monna has consistently championed authentic African storytelling, indigenous knowledge systems, intellectual property protection, and the commercialization of Africa’s creative industries.
