Big Game Parks, the custodians of some of Eswatini’s most iconic protected areas, has unveiled its calendar of outdoor experiences and events. Managing renowned conservation areas including Hlane Royal National Park, Mlilwane Game Sanctuary, Mkhaya Game Reserve, and KaMsholo Bushveld Safaris, Big Game Parks continues to blend conservation, adventure, and community through a diverse range of events centred on nature, exploration, and shared experiences.

The Autumn Hiking Festival takes place at Mlilwane Game Sanctuary. The weekend combines outdoor exploration with teamwork and creativity, as participants navigate scenic trails, complete engaging challenges, and spend evenings around the campfire under the stars. The festival emphasises connection with nature, collaboration, and the spirit of adventure.

A bush-themed Easter Egg Hunt is hosted across all Big Game Parks properties. The celebration includes hidden treasures, designated activity zones, and themed activities set against the natural backdrop of Eswatini’s wilderness.

At Mkhaya Game Reserve, the “Walk in the Footsteps of Legacy” experience provides a multi-day guided walking journey focused on conservation. Guests explore the reserve on foot alongside expert guides, tracking wildlife such as black and white rhino while learning about ongoing conservation efforts that protect Eswatini’s natural heritage. Multiple walking opportunities are scheduled throughout the year, with additional personalized options available on request.
