Alicante, Spain — Clevenard SL proudly announces that Lerato Rebecca Mabena, South African Property Developer, Think Tank Leader, Social Entrepreneur, and Business Strategist, will be honoured with a prestigious Honorary Global Leadership Award during the Clevenard Open Project 2026 – 5th Edition, taking place 27–30 August 2026 at the Palacio de Congresos, Alicante, Spain.

The international recognition will be formally presented on Day 4 — Sunday, 30 August 2026, during the Clevenard Global Awards – 3rd Edition, the flagship ceremony of the Clevenard Open Project. The awards celebrate distinguished global leaders whose work advances innovation, entrepreneurship, cultural exchange, and sustainable development across continents.

As part of the official programme, Lerato Rebecca Mabena will also serve as a keynote speaker on Day 3 — 29 August 2026, during the Global Tourism & International Film Celebration, where she will address international delegates, policymakers, investors, and industry leaders.

Drawing on her experience as a property developer, governance professional, and social entrepreneur, Mabena will share insights into how property development can serve as a powerful catalyst for economic empowerment, urban transformation, and long-term community prosperity.

About Lerato Rebecca Mabena

Lerato Rebecca Mabena is a dynamic South African property developer, strategic thinker, and social entrepreneur whose work bridges business leadership, governance, and community transformation.

Born on 14 September 1990, she holds a BA Honours in Public Governance and Management from the University of Johannesburg, equipping her with strong expertise in institutional systems, governance frameworks, and sustainable development strategy.

At the centre of her entrepreneurial journey is Ethubeni Projects, a successful property management and development enterprise with a growing and impressive property portfolio. Through this venture, Mabena has established herself as a forward-thinking leader in the property sector, combining financial discipline, operational excellence, and strategic investment insight to build sustainable property assets.

Her professional expertise spans property development, financial oversight, governance systems, business operations, sales management, and institutional leadership. Recognised for her meticulous attention to detail and results-driven leadership, she has built a reputation for developing efficient organisational systems that strengthen business performance and long-term growth.

Mabena is also Co-Founder and Executive Treasurer of the Eagles Eye Business Chamber, an emerging business platform dedicated to expanding economic participation and empowering entrepreneurs. In this role, she provides key leadership in financial governance, strategic planning, and institutional development.

Earlier in her career, she served as Secretary of the South African Institute of Electrical Engineers (SAIEE), where she gained valuable experience in governance, compliance, and professional institutional administration. She also served as Sales and Marketing Manager at Exclusive Car Wash, where she successfully introduced operational systems that enhanced efficiency and strengthened revenue performance.

Beyond her business achievements, Mabena is deeply committed to community empowerment and social impact. As a Princess from two Royal Households, she embraces a strong tradition of leadership and service within community and traditional governance structures.

She has played significant roles in various social initiatives, including serving as Head Coordinator of the UNODC Drug Harm Reduction Programme in KwaZulu-Natal, working at the intersection of public health, community leadership, and social awareness.

Her community engagement also includes leadership within the Princess Network, a regional platform connecting Princesses from Royal Houses and traditional leadership structures across Southern Africa to advance women’s leadership, cultural collaboration, and social advocacy.

Mabena has further demonstrated her dedication to youth empowerment as Head Coordinator of the Youth Mentor and Hygiene Pack Initiative, supporting young women across Limpopo, KwaZulu-Natal, and Gauteng. She also coordinated the Grannies Motivation and Blankets Drive across Mpumalanga and KwaZulu-Natal, providing support to elderly women in rural communities.

In addition, she served as a Programme Facilitator for the Yunus Turkish Cultural Exchange Programme, helping expose Soweto youth to international cultural engagement and global leadership opportunities.

Through her work in property development, governance leadership, and community transformation, Lerato Rebecca Mabena continues to build a legacy defined by enterprise, empowerment, and purposeful leadership.
