Yvonne Chaka Chaka: Princess of Africa & Global Humanitarian

Born Yvonne Ntombizodwa Machaka in Soweto, South Africa in 1965, Yvonne began breaking barriers as the first black child to appear on South African television in 1981, during the height of apartheid. Discovered by Dephon Records in 1985, she quickly became an international sensation, earning the title “Princess of Africa”.

Over her illustrious career, Yvonne has:
