Alicante, Spain – The Clevenard Open Project 2026 is proud to announce that Global Ambassador Collins Archie-Pearce, internationally acclaimed filmmaker, cultural ambassador, and creative industry leader, will headline the Global Tourism & International Film Celebration 2026 with a landmark lecture on Africa’s Demographic Power and the Role of African Film in Driving Global Tourism.
The session will take place on Day 3 of the Clevenard Open Project, Saturday, 29 August 2026, in Alicante, Spain, as part of a high-level programme uniting tourism leaders, filmmakers, government officials, traditional leaders, and global creatives.
A Legacy of Excellence
Born in Freetown, Sierra Leone, Ambassador Archie-Pearce migrated to the United Kingdom in 1991, where his journey as a creative and cultural leader flourished. He studied Business Management at Croydon College, graduating in 2008, and later trained in acting and directing at the British Film Institute (BFI).

With more than a dozen acclaimed film and television productions, including Flight 442, Devil in Freetown, I Can’t Get You Off My Mind, Transform, Unpredictable Enemies, and The British Expert, Ambassador Archie-Pearce’s work has reached global audiences through IROKOtv, international airlines, and major film festival circuits.
Shot across the UK, USA, The Gambia, and Sierra Leone, his films showcase authentic African narratives with universal resonance, positioning cinema as a powerful driver of cultural visibility and tourism.
Champion of the African Diaspora
A passionate advocate for African and diaspora cinema, Ambassador Archie-Pearce facilitated training exchanges between the British Film Institute and Sierra Leonean filmmakers in 2014, 2015, and 2019, bringing emerging talents to the UK. Through over 50 televised interviews, he has consistently promoted the global recognition of Sierra Leonean and African cinema.
On-Screen Presence & Public Leadership
Ambassador Archie-Pearce has appeared extensively in Nollywood and Sierra Leonean productions and starred for nine consecutive years in the UK television series Everyday Life, broadcast across four Sky TV channels.
Beyond the creative industry, he has served for over 23 years as a Manager on the Victoria Line with London Underground Ltd, demonstrating sustained leadership and excellence in public service.
Entrepreneurial Vision & Talent Development
As Founder and CEO of Archie-Pearce Production Ltd (Company No. 8672246), he has built a respected platform for high-quality film production and talent development. He also manages and represents over 20 A-list Nollywood stars, including Patience Ozokwor, Desmond Elliot, the late Mr. Ibu, Mike Ezuruonye, Kenneth Okonkwo, Van Vicker, and John Dumelo, while actively elevating Sierra Leonean talents such as Sarna Kanu, Winstina Taylor, and Desmond Finney.
