Palma de Mallorca, Spain — History will be made as the vibrant Mediterranean city of Palma de Mallorca welcomes the Clevenard Media Award 2025 for the first time. This prestigious global event will spotlight extraordinary individuals who embody excellence in entertainment, entrepreneurship, fashion, innovation, leadership, and community empowerment.
Among the inspiring nominees is Pastor Augustine Aboagye Quanin, a UK-based Ghanaian Gospel Musician, Minister of the Gospel, Media Entrepreneur, and Founder & CEO of PAAM TV UK, who has been nominated in the category of Gospel Music & Faith-Based Media Leadership. His nomination is a testament to his extraordinary influence in uniting faith, media, and culture to transform lives across continents.
A Transformational Journey of Faith and Purpose
Pastor Augustine’s life is one defined by resilience, vision, and a divine calling. Born on January 24 in Kumasi, Ghana, he is the proud son of Mrs. Sophia Quanin and the late Mr. Augustine K. Quanin. His early years in the Brong Ahafo and Ashanti regions were marked by both academic pursuit and athletic passion. As a talented footballer, he played for Techiman Corners, sharing the pitch with future international stars like Sulley Muntari.
Yet, destiny had greater plans. On September 20, 1995, Augustine experienced a life-altering spiritual encounter that led him to Christ — a moment he describes as a “mysterious encounter.” From that day forward, his mission became clear: to dedicate his gifts, voice, and leadership to the service of God and humanity.
Education and Ministerial Foundation
In 2007, Augustine relocated to the United Kingdom, where he strengthened both his academic and spiritual foundations. He pursued Computer Science at the London School of Management, followed by a Theology degree at Roehampton University, London, to equip himself for global ministry.
This balance of technology, theology, and leadership later fueled his groundbreaking work as both a pastor and media innovator.
A Gospel Musician of Impact
Music has always been at the heart of Pastor Augustine’s journey. From singing in his youth at St. Louis Catholic Church in Kumasi to leading worship at the House of Faith Ministries, he has always used his voice as a vessel of worship.
In 2005, he launched his professional music career with the album Metumi Aye (“I Can Do It”), released under Osdimens Records. Since then, his songs, including El Shaddai, Worthy, M’aba, and his latest single Obiara Nte Se Wo (“None Like You”), have deeply resonated with audiences.
His music is not just art — it is ministry. Each song is a prayer, a message of hope, and a bridge drawing people closer to God.
