This landmark event will bring together visionary entrepreneurs, creatives, government figures, NGOs, and community leaders from around the world to honor those transforming society through leadership, courage, and dedication.

One of this year’s nominees is Andrew Metzger, widely known as Mr. Dru, a UK-based TV Personality, Motivational Speaker, Life Coach, and Jazz Musician, originally from West Africa. He has been nominated in the category of Motivational Media & Community Impact for his inspiring work as a broadcaster and his dedication to empowering communities through his platform Shout It Out.

Mr. Dru first rose to prominence in the 1990s while growing up in Botswana, where his charisma and dynamic presence as a radio personality and DJ earned him recognition. Alongside his broadcasting work, he also served as a musician and mentor, training young people in drumming and actively participating in his local church’s worship team.

Although his path took a different turn in 2003 when he moved to the UK to further his studies—earning an MSc in Management Consultancy, an MBA in Finance, a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies, and a BA in Accounting and Public Administration—his passion for media and positive influence never faded. His personal motto, “never give up on our dreams,” has remained at the heart of his journey.

In 2024, Mr. Dru relaunched his media career with Shout It Out, a motivational TV program on Faith World TV that also airs via Sky TV, Freeview, and online platforms. Reaching over 70 million homes worldwide, the show gives a voice to unsung community heroes, highlighting their struggles, resilience, and triumphs. His initiative has not only inspired countless viewers but also engaged directly with youth organizations such as Elevated Minds in London, offering empowerment and motivation to the next generation.
