Palma de Mallorca, Spain – For the first time, the vibrant Mediterranean city of Palma de Mallorca will host the Clevenard Media Award 2025, a landmark celebration spotlighting excellence in entertainment, entrepreneurship, fashion, innovation, and community empowerment.

Among the distinguished nominees this year is Dr. Hon. Jennifer Obaseki, a multi-award-winning legal professional, humanitarian, and visionary leader, who has been nominated in the category of Global Legal Leadership & Human Rights Impact.

Dr. Obaseki is the Founder and Director of several high-profile initiatives, including LegalPaal LLP, Obaseki Solicitors & Estate Agents, and STMD Ltd, with over 25 years of legal expertise. Her firm specializes in Property, Immigration, Civil Litigation, Negligence, Family, Crime, and Commercial Law, serving a diverse global clientele. Under her leadership, these firms have achieved international acclaim for delivering justice with integrity and excellence.

Beyond her legal career, Dr. Obaseki is a passionate advocate for gender equality, anti-GBV initiatives, and access to justice. She is a Director at Professionals Against GBV and AFFIRM Human Rights, and has presented groundbreaking educational programmes on Ben TV and Faith TV. She also lectures internationally at institutions including the University of Oxford, United Nations, and University of East London, where she inspires the next generation of legal and human rights advocates.

She has co-authored the book African Women in Europe and authored multiple articles and academic papers addressing pressing global issues such as FGM, immigration reform, and social justice.

Her legacy includes the resolution of over 5,000 complex legal cases, with landmark rulings at the UK Supreme Court, including Ofulue v Bosset (2009) and AA Nigeria 2015. Her work continues to influence policy, protect the vulnerable, and empower marginalized communities.
