Among the outstanding nominees is Michele McCain, an acclaimed American-born singer, actress, songwriter, motivational storyteller, tech educator, and author, whose career has spanned more than four decades across stage, screen, and sound.

A Life of Impact: From Broadway to Europe

Michele McCain began her artistic journey in the vibrant music scene of New York City, performing with none other than the legendary James Brown at Yankee Stadium, captivating over 60,000 people. She later transitioned into musical theatre, joining the cast of the Tony Award–winning Broadway musical Ain’t Misbehavin’, where she performed for five years as lead and standby.

Her theatrical excellence led her on extensive tours throughout North America and the Caribbean, eventually bringing her to Europe with the same production. Michele continued to rise, starring in the German and Spanish versions of Barnum, which sparked her permanent relocation—first to Berlin, then to Spain.
