A visionary in global tourism development, Mr. Cuthbert Ncube has been officially nominated in the category Global Tourism Leadership & Sustainability Impact. His career spans over two decades and includes key leadership positions that have shaped tourism on the African continent and beyond.

Transformative Leadership in African Tourism

As President & Executive Chairman of the African Tourism Board (ATB), Mr. Ncube drives continental unity, leveraging cross-border partnerships to enhance Africa’s profile as a premier tourism destination. Under his leadership, ATB launched powerful initiatives such as Project Hope, which supported COVID‑19 recovery efforts and fostered collaborative ministerial forums.

Previously, Mr. Ncube served three consecutive terms as Regional Vice‑President of UNWTO Affiliate Members—Africa (2013, 2015, 2017), representing the continent at global tourism assemblies. He also held executive roles as CEO of Kwela Fleet Management, Managing Director of Golden Feathers Hotel in Cape Town, and as a board member for African Tourism Partners, Sustainable Tourism Partnership Programme, and Desigo Tourism Development & Facility Management.
