One of the distinguished nominees is Ambassador Collins Archie-Pearce, a globally celebrated actor, producer, and cultural ambassador whose contributions to African cinema have resonated across continents.

A Legacy of Excellence

Born in Freetown, Sierra Leone, Ambassador Archie-Pearce migrated to the United Kingdom in 1991, where his journey as a creative leader began to flourish. He studied Business Management at Croydon College, graduating in 2008, and honed his talents at the British Film Institute (BFI), training in acting and directing.

Cinematic Impact

With more than a dozen acclaimed productions to his name—including Flight 442, Devil in Freetown, I Can’t Get You Off My Mind, Transform, Unpredictable Enemies, and The British Expert—his films have reached audiences worldwide via IROKOtv, international airlines, and festival circuits. Shot across the UK, USA, The Gambia, and Sierra Leone, his work highlights African narratives with global appeal.

Championing the Diaspora

In his effort to strengthen Sierra Leone’s film industry, Ambassador Archie-Pearce facilitated training exchanges between the BFI and Sierra Leonean talent in 2014, 2015, and 2019, bringing nine emerging filmmakers to the UK. Through more than 50 televised interviews, he has passionately advocated for the global recognition of Sierra Leonean cinema.

On-Screen Presence

Ambassador Archie-Pearce has featured prominently in both Nollywood and Sierra Leonean productions. For nine consecutive years, he played a leading role in the UK-based television series Everyday Life, aired on four Sky TV channels.

Public Service & Leadership

Beyond the screen, he has served as a Manager on the Victoria Line for London Underground Ltd for over 23 years, showcasing leadership and commitment in the public sector.

As Founder and CEO of Archie-Pearce Production Ltd (Company No. 8672246), he has been instrumental in creating high-quality film content and nurturing talent. His company is a hub for cross-cultural storytelling and talent development.

He also manages and represents over 20 A-list Nollywood stars, including Patience Ozokwor, Desmond Elliot, the late Mr. Ibu, Mike Ezuruonye, Kenneth Okonkwo, Van Vicker, and John Dumelo. He is equally committed to elevating Sierra Leonean talents such as Sarna Kanu, Winstina Taylor, and Desmond Finney.
