Joseph Naku (Lordjanny) Nominated for Clevenard Media Award 2025

Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria – The Clevenard Media Award 2025, a major pan-African event dedicated to celebrating excellence in entertainment, creativity, entrepreneurship, and social impact, will take place on Saturday, 6th December 2025, at the Mariam Babangida Leisure Park and Film Village, The Bistro Event Center, Asaba. For the first time, this prestigious award ceremony will be hosted in the city of Asaba, bringing together top talents and leaders from across the African continent.

Among this year’s notable nominees is Joseph Naku, widely known by his stage name Lordjanny. He is the Chairman of the Voice of Niger Delta Musicians Association and a dedicated advocate for the music industry in the Niger Delta region of Rivers State, Nigeria.

Joseph Naku began his journey in music in 1996 as a founding member of the group Rock Lordz. While the group members eventually pursued individual paths, they remain close collaborators. Over the years, Lordjanny has demonstrated a strong commitment to using music as a tool for personal and community development. With over 23 recorded songs and music videos including his debut “Fight for Your Love,” he continues to use his platform to highlight the potential of the Niger Delta music scene.

In his words, Lordjanny emphasizes the need for increased support for music and the arts in the Niger Delta, noting that local musicians often lack the resources and backing enjoyed in other regions. His nomination at the Clevenard Media Award 2025 is not only a personal milestone but also a recognition of the growing talent and creative force within the Niger Delta.
