From Gambia to the World: The Story of a Passionate Artist

Origins and Early Steps in Music

Real Name: Hagie Jaiteh Cámara
Place of Birth: Sotuma, Gambia

From an early age, SOLDJA SICARIO showed a natural inclination toward music. At just 9 years old, he began his musical journey by joining Cora Estudios, where he spent four years honing his craft.

At 13, he released his first solo song, "Babylon", which had a significant impact in his community. Encouraged by this success, he continued making music and later released songs like "Moudzo" and "Let Go" while collaborating with various local artists, expanding his presence in Gambia’s music scene.

The European Journey: A Path of Challenges and Growth

Spain (Barcelona) - A Hidden Talent

In 2013, at the age of 13, SOLDJA SICARIO moved to Spain (Barcelona). However, due to family reasons, he had to keep his music career a secret, recording songs occasionally and sharing them only with close friends and followers on social media.

One of his most remarkable tracks from this period was "Why We Fighting?", which resonated with many listeners but did not reach a wider audience due to his personal situation.

The Netherlands - A Fresh Start with Family Support

Lacking family support in Spain, SOLDJA SICARIO made the tough decision to move to the Netherlands, where he found a more favorable environment for his music. Though he went a year without releasing new tracks, he used this time to refine his style and strategize his next steps in the industry.

England - Expanding His Musical Career

In 2017, he relocated to England, where he found better opportunities to release music and collaborate with emerging drill artists.

During this period, he produced several songs, including:

• "La Vida Loca"
• "I Don’t Wanna Waste No Time Yet"

However, these songs did not gain much recognition as they were not widely promoted and mostly circulated within his close circle.

Return to Gambia and Establishing His Career in Spain

Success in Gambia with "Qolontuu"

In 2018, SOLDJA SICARIO returned to Gambia and collaborated with artist Big Banga on the song "Qolontuu", which became one of the biggest hits in his home country.

Palma de Mallorca - A New Musical Home

In 2019, he returned to Spain, settling in Palma de Mallorca, where he continued his music career under the record label Alians Studios. In this new phase, he recorded several songs that are yet to be released, showcasing a more mature and versatile side of his music.

Currently, he works with Owly G Studios, collaborating with local and international artists, further expanding his influence in the music industry.
