Speaking at the well attended event, the President of the Association, Malam Suberu Asuku Iliyasu said the award to the Governor was well merited in view of the developmental strides and unity he has brought to Kebbi state since his assumption of office barely seven months ago.

He thanked the Ebira People’s Association for finding the Governor fit for the award and called on other similar Associations to integrate themselves into the Kebbi mainstream society, by organizing cultural events and showcasing their values.
