Hon. Muya Muboyayi is widely recognized for his exceptional expertise in law, public administration, and policy formulation. He holds a Bachelor’s and Undergraduate Degree in Public Law from the University of Kinshasa, complemented by an Advanced Diploma in Strategy and Defense Studies (CHESD). He has represented the DRC at multiple international legal forums, including the UIA Congresses in Portugal, Spain, Hungary, and South Africa, earning distinction for his leadership and advocacy.

Before entering the Senate, he served as Principal Political Advisor to the First President of the Court of Cassation and as Legal Assistant to the Minister of Information and Government Spokesperson, demonstrating deep understanding of governance, legislative processes, and public service. With over 15 years of legal practice before the Kinshasa/Matete Court of Appeal, he has built a reputation as a thoughtful, analytical, and solution-oriented leader committed to sustainable development and social impact.

As a multilingual communicator, fluent in French, Tshiluba, Lingala, and competent in English and Swahili, he continues to champion governance reforms, human rights, environmental stewardship, and regional collaboration, positioning the DRC as a key hub for Africa’s integration into the global economy.
