The Apostle Suleiman's Assassination saga: were the men killed also not ' men of God' according to 2 Timothy 3v 16 and 17?

The founder of Omega Fire Ministries, Johnson Suleman, has spoken after surviving an armed attack in Auchi, Edo State, Nigeria on Friday.

In a video posted on his church's TV social media pages, Suleman said he knew those behind the attack but won't be mentioning them.

He said, "I just escaped an assassination attempt where seven people were killed. They opened fire on my car. My wife and my kids were there. The escort car with police, they killed the policemen. They killed the other people in the escort car, the bus, that were with us. They killed seven people.

"People who did this are expecting me to come out and mention their names, so they can come out and deny it but I won't do that. The truth of the matter is, you can't kill me, my life is in the hand of God, I'm a man of God."

Eye witnesses had it that the hired assassin's waited patiently for Suleiman for over an hour at the incidence spot. They said that on sighting his convoy, they came out of the vehicle and opened fire on him. He was however saved because the bullets couldn't

penetrate the bullet proof car he and his family travelled in.

in the gun battle however, seven of his aides who travelled in a non bullet proof vehicle lost their lives.

Many has come out in numbers to congratulate the prophet on his survival but some wonder who the men that lost their lives were, were they not also 'men of God' according to 2Timothy 3 v 16 and 17.? Were their lives also not in God's hands?.

Some also posits that since he was able to provide bullet proof cars for himself, he would also have done same for his aids since he knew he had so much enemies within and without.

They claimed it is considered normal though abnormal in the country that while the spiritual leaders spends much on physical gadgets for protection, the followers are advised to put their trust in God and his angels for protection.

"We, the publics thank God for protecting Apostle Suleiman but we would also have been much more thankful if the seven souls lost were also protected by "God" because we believe that the live of everyman is in the hands of God, they said.
