Ambassador Alain St.Ange of Seychelles on Official Working Mission to Egypt

Ambassador Alain St.Ange of Seychelles, Ambassador-at-Large and former Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Ports and Marine, has been officially invited to Cairo, Egypt, as Guest of Honour for a major international tourism and hospitality event hosted under the Afro-Asian Union (AFASU).

The high-level engagement includes participation in the prestigious AFASU Hospitality Awards and the recognition ceremony honouring influential Arab media figures in tourism and hospitality at the 2026 AFASU International Golden Award Ceremony.

Ambassador St.Ange will depart Seychelles on 12 June 2026 for a series of official back-to-back engagements scheduled for 13 and 14 June 2026 in Cairo.

According to the official invitation issued by the Afro-Asian Union (AFASU) based in Cairo, Egypt:

Your presence will provide a magnificent opportunity to showcase the Seychelles’ tourism success story to our distinguished attendees, as well as to the prominent Egyptian and Middle Eastern media network.”

On 14 June 2026, Ambassador Alain St.Ange will join distinguished dignitaries including Major General Dr. Khaled Fouda, Advisor to the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt for Development & Heritage and former Governor of South Sinai, alongside Dr. Hossam Darwish, President of the Afro-Asian Union (AFASU), to formally honour influential Arab media figures in the field of tourism and present the official awards.

Major General Dr. Khaled Fouda, Advisor to the President of Egypt for Development & Heritage, also serves as Honorary President of AFASU.
