Hon. Professor Joyce Ndalichako is a highly respected Tanzanian scholar and public sector leader known for her impactful contributions to education transformation, institutional strengthening, and national governance across the United Republic of Tanzania.

A trailblazer in her field, she has served in several senior leadership roles within the Government of Tanzania, including:

• Minister of Education, Science and Technology, where she championed major reforms to improve national education quality, access, accountability, and teacher development.
• Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office (Regional Administration & Local Government – TAMISEMI), overseeing national systems for decentralised governance, service delivery, and community development.

Before joining the Cabinet, Professor Ndalichako served as Executive Secretary of the National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA), where she strengthened institutional integrity, examination standards, and national assessment systems.
