She began her education at SDA Primary School and Holy Rosary Secondary School in Kenema before pursuing a career in healthcare, earning clinical training at Njala University.

In 2012, Yatta entered the film industry with her debut in Fatal Pronouncement and rose to wider prominence in 2016 with her leading role in Dinta: The Running Girl, a Liberian production by Bright Star Film Production. Since then, she has featured in numerous acclaimed films, including The Blind Prince, The Calabash, Package of Trust, and Paolo, demonstrating versatility, emotional depth, and a strong on-screen presence.

Beyond acting, Yatta is a visionary producer and CEO of Munda Network TV, where she produces authentic African stories that resonate locally and globally. Her notable productions include Unfinished Lessons, Whisper of the Forest, Evil Within, Stoic, My Wedding Gift, Heart of Envy, and Lost in Love. Through her creative leadership, she has built a platform for elevating Sierra Leonean cinema while mentoring emerging talents.
