Through her work, she has trained and coached over 5,000 individuals in financial literacy, empowered 650+ entrepreneurs, and mentored vulnerable youth across Eswatini, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Lesotho.

She is the award-winning author of Black People Get Your Money Right: How History is Stopping You from Creating Generational Wealth, a widely acclaimed work that has positioned her as a leading voice on the psychology and spirituality of money for Africans and people of African descent. Her work uniquely bridges academic research, lived experience, policy influence, and grassroots execution.

Ms. Tfwala’s distinguished career includes senior leadership in local economic development, regional and international development cooperation with the Commonwealth Local Government Forum, and advisory and board roles with institutions across Africa and the United States.
