She holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in Tourism from Ballsbridge University, a Master of Science in Leadership and Change Management from Leeds Metropolitan University, and a Bachelor of Commerce and Diploma in Commerce from the University of Eswatini, alongside professional qualifications in telecommunications management from the Commonwealth Telecommunications Organization.
Currently serving in the Senate of Eswatini (2023–2028), Dr. Nxumalo is widely recognized for advancing gender equality, digital inclusion, and sustainable development. She also serves on the Commonwealth Women Parliamentarians Steering Committee (Eswatini Branch), building leadership capacity for women in governance and promoting gender-responsive policies. In the private sector, she held leadership roles at Shell Oil Swaziland, MTN Eswatini, the Eswatini Post & Telecommunications Corporation, the Royal Science & Technology Park, and served as CEO of the Eswatini Tourism Authority (2018–2023).
