This landmark international event unites visionary entrepreneurs, creatives, government officials, NGOs, and community leaders from across the world to celebrate those who transform society through courage, leadership, and dedication.

Among the distinguished nominees is High Chief Lady Tender Amarachi Adaugo Ikechiuku, popularly and globally known as De Lioness, Founder and CEO of Quintessential Women Worldwide, and Director of Friends of De Lioness International (FDL). She has been nominated in the prestigious category of Global Humanitarian Leadership & Cultural Impact.

A Life of Purpose, Leadership, and Service

Born in the 1970s into the family of Apostle Joseph Ikechiuku and Deaconess Victoria Ikechiuku in Ogbuebulle Oboro Community, Ikwuano Local Government Area, Abia State, Nigeria, De Lioness has lived a life marked by excellence, resilience, and compassion.

Her early education began at Ogbuebulle Central School (First School Leaving Certificate, 1982) and continued in the eastern region of Nigeria, where she obtained her WAEC Certificate in 1987. She later attended the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and Federal Polytechnic Oko, where she studied Mass Communication (1994).

Her career journey began at Delta Broadcasting Service, before relocating to the United Kingdom in 1995, where she continued to advance her education at Lewisham College (BTEC National Diploma in Health & Social Studies) and later at the University of Westminster, where she earned a BSc in Business Computing (2002). She also holds a Professional Qualification in Adult Nursing (2019) from the University of Hertfordshire.

Global Service and Community Leadership

A woman of many talents, De Lioness has become a respected Master of Ceremony (MC) at numerous international events, known for her charisma, eloquence, and passion. As a Communicator and Presenter with Primeview Television, she has featured on Ogbako Ndi Igbo, using media as a tool for unity and cultural awareness.

She currently serves as the Women Leader of Jubilee Christian Centre, London, and continues her philanthropic mission through the Friends of De Lioness International (FDL) — a charitable organization that provides food, healthcare, and empowerment to disadvantaged individuals and families in Nigeria and the UK.

Her numerous chieftaincy titles — Adabuzo Ndi Abia (UK), UGEGBE 1 of Umuogele Ancient Kingdom, Kpapkando Ikwuano, and Onu Nekwuru Oha na Oruigwe — reflect her leadership, cultural pride, and community service.

She is also the Global Ambassador for AYDF and the Founder of Quintessential Women Worldwide, a global platform advocating for gender balance, leadership development, and empowerment of women.
