This landmark international event brings together visionary entrepreneurs, creatives, government figures, NGOs, and community leaders from around the world to honor individuals whose leadership, compassion, and dedication have transformed lives and strengthened communities.

Among the distinguished nominees is Her Royal Majesty (HRM) Mamaga Aduwodzi Fianor II, a humanitarian trailblazer, cultural leader, and Queen Mother of all Ewe Ghanaians in the UK. Known for her tireless commitment to service and community upliftment, HRM Mamaga has made an indelible mark both in the United Kingdom and her ancestral homeland of Ghana.

A devoted health support worker by profession, HRM Mamaga’s work transcends borders. She has continuously championed causes that improve the quality of life for the underprivileged, empower women, and advance healthcare and education in Ghana’s Volta Region.

“As a Queen, I support a lot of Queen Mothers and Kings back home with clothes, jewelry, and other essentials—and they in turn support me with their prayers,” HRM Mamaga shared, reflecting her deep sense of cultural solidarity and mutual respect within the traditional hierarchy.

Her humanitarian contributions are both impactful and enduring. She played a pivotal role in supporting the Alavanyo-Wudidi Clinic in the Volta Region by funding the construction of its maternity block and providing vital medical equipment, including wheelchairs, maternity beds, and PPE supplies during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Her commitment to education and youth empowerment is equally remarkable. HRM Mamaga has supplied books, stationery, and sanitary pads to schoolgirls from primary to high school levels in her hometown, while also assisting 10 school dropouts to acquire vocational and technical qualifications—all of whom have since gained meaningful employment.

Looking ahead, she envisions establishing vocational and technical training centers in Alavanyo-Wudidi to empower young people with practical skills for sustainable livelihoods.

Her community work extends to the UK, where she founded Unity is Strength, a welfare initiative that provides crucial support to Ghanaians living abroad. Through this platform, she continues to foster solidarity, offer guidance, and respond to the social and emotional needs of the Ghanaian diaspora.

HRM Mamaga has also expressed her intention to launch a series of charitable foundations aimed at supporting the physically challenged and empowering the less privileged across Africa and beyond.
