Good morning, Seychelles.
I begin today by expressing my deepest gratitude to all the candidates of Lalyans Nouvo Sesel (LNS), as well as our dedicated party members, supporters, and volunteers. Throughout this campaign, you have worked tirelessly, with passion and conviction, often against the odds. Politics is not a simple path — it demands courage, resilience, and an unshakable belief in service. Each one of you has demonstrated these values, and I am proud to stand alongside you.
The results of the Seychelles Elections 2025 are now clear. While we at Lalyans Nouvo Sesel (LNS) are disappointed by the outcome, we respect the decision of the people of Seychelles. Democracy is about choice, and the voice of the people must always be honored. Though the results may not reflect the full impact of our message or the energy we carried into this campaign, I remain encouraged. The seeds we have sown will continue to grow, and the progress we have made will not be forgotten.
Breaking into a traditional two-party system is no easy feat. It is a struggle that requires vision and determination, and it comes with many challenges. Yet, by daring to step forward, Lalyans Nouvo Sesel has shown that it is possible to stand as an alternative — a voice for those who seek change, fairness, and new possibilities for our beloved islands. I believe that one day Seychelles will fully embrace a political environment where new parties and independent candidates are given the space to thrive, ensuring a more inclusive and balanced democracy.
Our journey has always been about more than just winning votes. It has been about starting conversations, shifting perspectives, and creating space for dialogue on issues that truly matter: economic opportunity, social equity, environmental sustainability, and a future where every Seychellois feels seen and valued. These are the principles that guided us, and they remain at the heart of our movement.
To all who supported us — from the grassroots volunteers who knocked on doors, to the families who shared their hopes with us, to the citizens who stood by our side — I extend my most sincere thanks. Your trust, energy, and commitment have been the driving force behind everything we have accomplished. This campaign was not mine alone; it was ours, together, as a collective call for progress.
Though this chapter of the electoral process is closing, Seychelles’ political journey is far from over. We are at a pivotal moment in our history, and the challenges ahead require leadership, vision, and unity. Lalyans Nouvo Sesel may not have secured victory this time, but the movement we have built is only beginning. We will continue to work, to listen, and to advocate for a Seychelles where opportunity, justice, and prosperity are shared by all.
The dream of change is alive. The seeds we have planted through this campaign will grow, and in time, they will bear fruit for our islands and our people. For me, this is not the end, but the continuation of a journey of service — one rooted in love for our country and unwavering faith in its potential.
Thank you, Seychelles.
