Early Life and Education
Born on April 5, 1985, Comrade Uyero grew up with an innate drive for leadership and service. His academic journey began at Emore Grammar School, Oleh, where he served as President of the Press Debating and Dramatic Society (PDDS). Even as a student, his passion for advocacy and public engagement was evident.
He proceeded to Delta State University, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, followed by a Master’s degree in Management. Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. in Management, reflecting his dedication to continuous learning and academic excellence.
Beyond formal education, Uyero is a graduate of the School of Politics, Policy and Governance, a Fellow of the Institute of Policy Management Development, and an alumnus of the Emerging Political Leadership Fellowship. These credentials not only strengthened his intellectual grounding but also reinforced his mission to contribute to governance and policymaking at local, national, and continental levels.
Leadership and Advocacy Journey
Uyero’s leadership track record spans over two decades of grassroots activism, youth advocacy, and policy influence. He has:
- Founded the Delta Youth and Community Initiative, a nonprofit organization through which he launched the widely acclaimed Emerging Youth Leaders Conference — a platform for mentoring, training, and empowering the next generation of Delta State leaders.
- Convened the South-South PDP Youth Leaders’ Summit (2022) — the first of its kind, bringing together youth voices to influence political participation and development in the Niger Delta.
- Served as Secretary of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (Delta State, Ndokwa East Chapter).
- Appointed to the Youth Development Committee by His Excellency, Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan, Executive Governor of Delta State (2007–2015).
- Represented Nigeria at several international youth forums, including:
Africa Youth Conference, Maputo, Mozambique (2012).
Africa Youth Coalition Against Hunger Conference, Freetown, Sierra Leone (2013).

- Special Assistant on Political Matters to former Governor Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa (2021–2023).
- Current Special Assistant on Youth Mobilization to Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, Governor of Delta State (2023–present).
- President General of Araya Community, where he drives grassroots development, cultural preservation, and community empowerment.

Entrepreneurship and Innovation
In addition to his advocacy and governance roles, Uyero is a successful entrepreneur. He is the Managing Director/CEO of Urban Corporate Development & Management Services Ltd, developers of RegTravel, a cutting-edge data management app in the transport sector. This innovation is designed to improve efficiency, accountability, and safety in Nigeria’s transport industry.
His entrepreneurial vision showcases his belief in technology as a powerful driver of development and transformation.
