Palma de Mallorca, Spain — For the first time, the vibrant Mediterranean city of Palma de Mallorca will host the Clevenard Media Award 2025, spotlighting excellence in entertainment, entrepreneurship, fashion, innovation, governance, and community empowerment.

This landmark event brings together visionary entrepreneurs, creatives, government figures, NGOs, and community leaders from around the world to honor those who transform society through leadership, courage, and dedication.

One of this year’s distinguished nominees is Sidney Clifford Cordle MBE, Leader of the Christian Peoples Alliance. He has been nominated in the prestigious category of Political Leadership & Faith-Based Impact, recognizing his unwavering commitment to public service, political integrity, and the integration of faith-driven values into leadership.

A Life in Politics & Public Service

Sid Cordle has over 50 years of active political experience, having played a major role in ten General Elections and standing as a candidate in multiple constituencies across the UK. He began his political journey with the Conservative Party, later leaving in 2004 due to disagreements with party leadership, and went on to lead the Christian Peoples Alliance (CPA) from 2012 to date.

Under his leadership, the CPA has placed prayer, ethical governance, and community-centered policies at the heart of its vision, holding regular prayer meetings and championing causes aligned with Christian values. His influence was pivotal during the UK’s 2016 EU Referendum, where he steered the CPA’s pro-leave stance.

Cordle’s distinguished political record includes standing against Nick Clegg in Sheffield Hallam (2005), running in constituencies such as Erith and Thamesmead (2010, 2015), Hitchin (2017, 2019, 2024), and serving as No.1 on the CPA list in European Elections for Yorkshire (2009), London (2014), and Eastern Region (2019).

In addition to contesting 20 local elections (winning twice), he served six years as City Councillor for Ecclesall Ward in Sheffield, where he was widely respected for his dedication to constituents.

For his public and political contributions, he was awarded the Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in 1989 at the age of just 32.
