Mayor Olalekan A. Ajibola — widely known as Mayor Olafancy — is an award-winning community leader, businessman, multimedia and event consultant, Radio/TV producer, and philanthropist. He is the Co-Founder and Chairman of Fancy TV Channel UK, Fancy Radio UK, Fancy Healthcare Recruitment Services UK, ORAEL Institute London, and the convener of the globally recognized EPRA Leadership & Entrepreneurial Awards and its charitable arm, ORAEL Foundation Trust.

A dynamic individual passionate about continuous learning and social impact, Mayor Ajibola has built a career dedicated to empowering communities both in the United Kingdom and Nigeria. Through ORAEL Foundation, he has provided humanitarian support — feeding the poor, delivering medical aid, empowering young women in vocational trades, and guiding youth entrepreneurs to pursue and achieve their business visions.

Mayor Ajibola’s journey from Ibadan, Nigeria, to London is a testament to resilience and visionary leadership. His early education in Nigeria, career development at Arthur Holdings Limited, and later migration to the UK in 2006 set the foundation for an impressive rise in multimedia and community leadership. By 2008, he had launched his first media company, which evolved into Fancy TV Channel, now a household name in UK-African entertainment and information programming.

Among his most notable achievements is the long-running talk show Reality of Life, airing since 2011 on BEN Entertainment TV, London — a platform addressing social issues, cultural values, and solutions for diverse communities.

His influence extends beyond media. He has been a mentor, shaping the lives of hundreds of young people in inner London by helping them avoid crime and build meaningful futures. Through Fancy Foundation Trust, he provides free weekend IT and media training for under-18s and hosts impactful youth-focused events, including Young Offender, a program designed to combat knife crime and promote street safety.

Mayor Ajibola’s leadership has been widely recognized. He has received:

• Leadership Award as Mayor for Peace Making (2015) from the High Commissioner of Nigeria in the UK and Andy Love MP.
• Ambassador for Goodwill and Leadership Award (2016) at The True Africa Heritage Foundation UK.
