Palma de Mallorca, Spain — For the first time, the vibrant Mediterranean city of Palma de Mallorca will host the Clevenard Media Award 2025, spotlighting excellence in entertainment, entrepreneurship, fashion, innovation, leadership, and community empowerment.

This landmark event will bring together visionary entrepreneurs, creatives, government figures, NGOs, and community leaders from around the world to honor individuals who transform society through leadership, courage, and dedication.

One of this year’s distinguished nominees is Philip Olufemi Olayiminka OLAYIWOLA, popularly known as Pholat, who has been nominated in the category of Gospel Music Leadership & Global Impact.

About Philip Olufemi Olayiminka OLAYIWOLA (Pholat)

Born on February 19, 1965, in Oyo State, Nigeria, to the family of Prophet Jacob and Deaconess Rachael Olayiwola Fadairo, Pholat has built a remarkable legacy in faith, music, and leadership.

After completing his education at Anglican/Methodist Secondary Modern School Ajagba, Oyo and Saka Tinubu Memorial High School Orile Agege, Lagos, he earned a Diploma in Computer Engineering with Upper Credit from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. He later pursued an International Diploma in Education from the University of Buckingham, UK, along with theological training from the Word of Faith Bible Institute (WOFBI) and L.I.F.E. Theological Seminary, Lagos.

Pholat became a born-again Christian in 1982 at the Foursquare Gospel Church, Agege, and soon after embraced his calling as a minister. He is an ordained pastor with The Shepherd’s Flock International Church, Lagos, and an anointed gospel musician whose ministry began in the early 1980s.

In 1985, he joined the Gospel Musicians Association of Nigeria (GOMAN) and founded his own Pholat Gospel Band in 1988. His debut album “ASAKO WA’LE” was launched on May 1, 1993, marking the start of a career that has since inspired countless lives across Nigeria and beyond.

Today, Pholat serves as the National President of GOMAN Worldwide, leading gospel musicians across Africa and the diaspora. His ministry has taken him to the United Kingdom, Ghana, Republic of Benin, and other nations, where he continues to use music and the Word of God to transform lives.

Beyond music, Pholat is a counselor, music tutor, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and event planner. He has released several albums and remains a dedicated family man, married to Deaconess Bukola Janet Olayiwola, with whom he is blessed with three children: David, Deborah, and Daniel.
