He holds a Ph.D in Labour and Employment Law and is a product of elite academic institutions in the UK and Nigeria, including Manchester University, Glasgow University, and Rivers State University.

His pioneering achievements include:

• Establishing the first indigenous insurance brokerage firm in Rivers State — Bellcrest Insurance Brokers Ltd
• Founding Chief G.W. Onuekwa & Co., a prominent legal firm
• Constructing major infrastructure projects, including the Bellcrest Shopping Mall, which generated over 30 employment opportunities
• Championing regional culture as the President-General of Ogbakor Ikwerre Cultural Organization Worldwide
• Advocating for peace, justice, and religious values as a Knight of St. Christopher (KSC) and Justice of Peace appointed by the Rivers State Government
