From modest beginnings to building multimillion-dollar ventures in over 45 countries, Gerald Walker’s story is a remarkable tale of perseverance, bold vision, and international business excellence.

A graduate of Grambling State University with a degree in Industrial Technology, Gerald launched his entrepreneurial journey after corporate stints at Frito Lay and Southland Corporation. In 1992, he founded one of Dallas’ largest travel agencies and soon pivoted into the security industry, becoming Texas' top salesperson for four consecutive years.

As Sales Manager for Smith Alarm Systems, he helped scale the company from $14 million to $103 million in just four years. In 2001, Gerald launched his own security firm, which quickly became the #1 provider in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

In 2004, he took his entrepreneurial ambitions global by founding a security company in Nigeria—becoming the first African American to do so. His pioneering contributions include:

• Implementing Nigeria’s first solar-powered surveillance system for Shell Development Company.
• Becoming the first American to establish a cash-in-transit firm in Nigeria.
• Delivering the country’s first Level 6 armored vehicles for cash-in-transit operations.

BizCbook and Global Expansion

In 2017, Gerald launched BizCbook LLC, a business networking platform connecting enterprises worldwide. Officially launched in 2021, BizCbook now operates in over 45 countries, facilitating partnerships and empowering businesses globally.

In Tirana, Albania, he recently opened a regional office and signed a major joint venture to supply diesel fuel and commodities, acquiring 17 fuel storage tanks. He is also spearheading a $25 million hydroponic grow facility to boost sustainable agriculture.

In Nigeria, Gerald is developing a $1.2 billion, 500-bed hospital project in the Eco Atlantic area of Lagos—raising the bar for healthcare infrastructure in West Africa.

Author & Inspirational Speaker

Gerald is a highly requested international speaker on doing business in Africa, having traveled to over 37 countries. He has authored:

• “Why African Americans Fear Doing Business in Nigeria”
