This milestone gathering brings together global changemakers—entrepreneurs, creatives, public officials, NGOs, and community leaders—to celebrate those who drive meaningful impact through leadership, courage, and service.

One of this year’s distinguished nominees is Nancy Abdelhadi, recognized in the category of International Development & Women Empowerment (Africa & MENA Impact) for her transformative work in economic cooperation, tourism development, and gender inclusion across the Middle East and Africa.

Meet the Nominee: Nancy Abdelhadi

Founder & Managing Partner, IBIS | Past President, Rotary Club of Heliopolis El Golf | International Development Expert

With over two decades of experience, Nancy Abdelhadi has led innovative initiatives in destination marketing, investment promotion, and women’s economic participation across Africa and the MENA region. She is the Founder and Managing Partner of IBIS – International Business & Investment Services, a regional consultancy based in Egypt fostering cross-border economic growth and sustainable tourism.

A Rotarian since 2019, Nancy served as President of the Rotary Club of Heliopolis El Golf and is currently a Board Member of the Rotary Club of Cairo Future Leaders, where she leads community-focused projects supporting youth empowerment, girls' education, refugee welfare, and health equity.

She also serves on the Executive Board of the African Tourism Board and is Head of African Development at the UK-based MBIMB Foundation, advancing holistic development for vulnerable communities.

Nancy’s influence spans diplomacy, advisory, and advocacy. She has worked with governments across Egypt, Uganda, Zambia, and Sierra Leone and has spoken at international platforms such as COP27 and the U.S.–Africa Leaders’ Summit, pushing for sustainable development, inclusive trade, and corporate climate action.

Her deep commitment to gender equity is reflected in her contributions as a SheTrades consultant, E-Commerce Advisor for WeFi Egypt, and founding member of ASK EJB, empowering women-owned enterprises.

Currently, Nancy contributes her voice and experience to the Girls Empowerment Committee of Rotary International, supporting scalable, impactful programs that inspire and uplift girls around the world.
