Biography:

Mpandle Reginald Fusi, widely known by his stage name Disaster, is a dedicated and high-energy South African performer born in March 1990 in the Free State province. His passion for music ignited in 2004 while still in school, drawn to the rich traditions of Pantsula dance and Kwaito music.

After completing his matric, Disaster committed fully to pursuing his dream of becoming one of the best musical artists from South Africa. Today, he proudly ranks among the Top 8 upcoming Kwaito/Amapiano artists in the country. His talent has earned him previous nominations for the MaMa Awards and GaMa Awards for Best Musical Artist.

Disaster has worked with notable industry figures like DJ Active, Havock, and Bhiza925, and continues to push boundaries with fresh new collaborations and projects.

In 2025, Disaster adds another major milestone to his career: He has been nominated for the Clevenard Radio Music Awards 2025 in two categories: Best Performer and Best Upcoming Artist.
