HRM Ehizogie Eluojerior 1 (JP), The Onogie Of Igueben Kingdom, Esan In Edo State, Anticipates 40th Coronation Anniversary.

The inaugural lecture heralding the 40th coronation anniversary of HRM, Ehizogie Eluojerior1, JP, the Onogie of Igueben kingdom and the okaigun of Esan land with focus on the relevance of foundations and NGO's in our society took place on the 7th of September, 2024.

In an address titled, The Roles NGO's can play in Alleviating poverty in developing countries like Nigeria, by Dr. Gabriel Aire Obinyan, Head of Department, library and Information Science, Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma, NGO's main objective is to fill the gap that government and private sectors are unable to cover and address effectively. Dr. Obibyan applauded the Onogie's efforts in setting developmental pace in and around Esan land through the viable collaboration between the Imadojemu Heart Foundation and Agbonjagwe Leenon Ikpea Medical Foundation .

The Imadojemu Heart Foundation, set up in 2002 is an initiative of HRM with a clear objective to identify, early enough and deal with the dreaded heart disease in Nigeria and Edo State in Particular.
It is on record that quite a number of people with heart related issues has benefited from the viable initiative.

History attests that the Onogie has celebrated many achievements and coronations on the throne culminating in the 40th anniversary being celebrated next year, February, 2025.

The lecture was organised by the 40th anniversary committee in conjunction with the Imadojemu Heart Foundation and Agbonjagwe Leemon Ikpea Foundation and attended by dignitaries across Edo State.
